CHEERS!

Terms of Use

Last updated September 29, 2026

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Cheers Social LLC (“Cheers Social,” “we,” “us”). They cover the CHEERS! app and this website (together, “CHEERS!”). By creating an account or using CHEERS!, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use CHEERS!.

1. Who can use CHEERS!

You must be of legal drinking age where you live to use CHEERS!. In the United States, that means you must be at least 21. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that someone under the legal drinking age is using CHEERS!, we will close their account.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Give accurate information when you sign up, and don’t pretend to be someone else. You can delete your account at any time in the app under History, then Account and settings, then Delete account.

3. Community rules

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Breaking these rules can get your content removed and your account closed without warning.

When you use CHEERS!, you agree not to share or send anything that:

You also agree not to misuse CHEERS!, for example by trying to access other people’s accounts, interfering with the service, or collecting information about other users.

4. Reporting and blocking

You can report any CHEERS! or person in the app by tapping ••• and choosing Report. You can also block anyone, which ends your friendship, stops them from sending you CHEERS! or friend requests, and hides their CHEERS! from you. We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms, we remove it and may suspend or close the account of the person who shared it.

5. Your content

You own the photos and other content you share on CHEERS!. To run the service, you give us permission to store, process, and show your content to the people you send it to. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we need to keep for legal reasons or that are held briefly in backups.

Only share photos you have the right to share. If someone else is in your photo, make sure they’re okay with it. When you use Share to a group chat, your photo leaves CHEERS! and goes to the app or people you choose, and their own terms apply.

6. Location

Adding a location to a CHEERS! is optional. If you use “Use my location,” your phone suggests a place name. Only the place name you choose is shared, and only with the people you send that CHEERS! to.

7. Drink responsibly

CHEERS! is a way to connect with friends. It doesn’t encourage drinking, and nothing on CHEERS! is advice about alcohol. Please drink responsibly, follow local laws, and never drink and drive.

8. Changes and ending the service

We may update CHEERS! and add, change, or remove features. We may also suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we make important changes to these terms, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use CHEERS! after that means you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimers

CHEERS! is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every CHEERS! or notification will be delivered. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Cheers Social won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of CHEERS!. Our total liability for any claim related to CHEERS! is limited to $100. We aren’t responsible for what other users share or do.

11. Apple

If you downloaded CHEERS! from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Cheers Social, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for CHEERS! or its content, and has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store’s usage rules.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
